Lunch by the river

This was my initial venture into “street” photography, which is quite ironic since the photograph captures a serene moment by the riverbank. Instead, let’s reclassify it as a “life” picture since it portrays everyday people in their natural settings.

As a frequent visitor to the River Thames, I have come to appreciate the diverse architectural designs ranging from historic to contemporary steel and glass structures. The area is a rich source of inspiration for photographers seeking to capture the essence of urban life.

In the photograph, two individuals can be seen taking a break from their busy work schedules to relax and enjoy their lunch while the tide is out. Despite the seemingly mundane setting, the photo manages to capture the beauty of everyday life in the city of London.
